Because You're a Woman...
Dr. Sandler knows that being a wife, mother, daughter, employee, volunteer, chauffeur, and housekeeper can keep you so busy that your health care may be ignored or overlooked. Dr. Sandler also knows that women often feel more comfortable talking with another woman about their health concerns.
And, unlike some physicians, Dr. Sandler listens.
Not only that, Dr. Sandler asks questions. She asks whether you're having any sexually-related problems (with men or women). She asks if you know how to do breast self-exams or Kegel exercises (to prevent urinary incontinence). She asks about your moods and your coping mechanisms to relieve stress.
